Objective: Laterality refers to a certain difference in humans that includes the development of a specialized functioning in each cerebral hemisphere and the body region it controls. The most common and notable type of laterality is hand preference. The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality of clinical education and service in convertible dental units of left-hand user dentistry undergraduate students in a dental faculty.   Materials and Method: This study was carried out on 30 permanent mandibular molars, which were extracted for various reasons. Firstly, access cavities of teeth were prepared and weights of them were recorded with precision scales that can show five decimal places before the preparation. Root canals in each group (n=15) were prepared with WaveOne Gold and TruNatomy file systems. After preparation, weights of all teeth were re-measured and recorded. Statistical analysis was performed as mean and standard deviation of weights before and after preparation in two different groups.  Results: There was no statistically significant difference between pre- and postpreparation mean weights in both groups. When mean weight reductions between the groups were compared, the mean weight reduction in WaveOne Gold group was statistically significantly higher than TruNatomy group (p < 0.05).   Conclusion: WaveOne Gold rotary file system can remove a larger amount of dentine and pulp tissue than TruNatomy rotary file system.
