Özet

Plastic and microplastics are an indispensable part of todays and were used in a variety of areas ofindustryand daily life.Intheprocess, theplasticdisintegratesintomicroplastics, wherebytheparticlesbecomesosmallthat evenmicroorganismscanabsorbthem.Plasticsandplasticpollutionintheoceans, seas, andcoastalwaterstend to increase rapidly. In this study carried out in the ten sites in the Çanakkale Strait, is the first reference to thedetection oficroplastics distribution by Mantha Net at surface waters by Autum 2020. Filtered 84 514 m seawater totally. The average level oficroplastics in the surface ( 0-30 cm) was determined to be 2 555 789item /km 2 The total distribution according to the types of particles as Plastic Films (n =20000 item /km);Filaments (n= 10000 item /km2); Plastic Fragments (n = 210000 item /km); Plastic Granules (n= 10000item/km2); Foams ( n=10000 item /km22) in different colour, shape and size. Finally samples were caracterizedby ATR-FTIR and DSC measurements. Plastic fragments and opaque filsm were identified as polyethylene(PE), transparent films were polyvinly chloride (PVC). Microplastics in the form of granules and foam wereidentified as polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS), respectively.23
